1. Maxima has done away with use of Arms for housing the Pressure Rollers and thereby the pressures being exerted are more direct and the response to the pressing force very spontaneous. The reaction to the force offered by the powders for compression into a tablet is also so quick that the resulting cushioning is far more effective. This enables the use of direct pillar mechanism for force exertion. This system is patented. 2. Maxima is being offered with various configurations. This means that this design of the Press is far more flexible. These presses are fast speed and require a continous feeding system for powders into the die cavities. 3. The feature that makes these Presses High Speed is the Force Feeding Arrangement. This is dual propeller feeding system has special profile which enables the mechanism to force feed powders uniformly, under high turret RPMs to even tinier die cavities. This enables very true weight repeatedly and for tablets that will be sintered later on this is ideally desired. 4. With many restricting components out of the way this Press is far easier to maintain and is an ideal Press for enclosed environment working. Hence this Press is being developed as an Isolated Press enclosed in glove box. 5. The cGMP features include the three piece turret, the total isolation of the Mechanical Area from the Tableting Area. Also this Press can be strongly and adequately instrumentalized. Two sides of the Press carry the Instrument plus Control Panel and Hydraulics respectively leaving the Press open for manual intervention from two of the remaining sides. 6. The Press has basically all the features of the Standard Excella, however it’s a faster and a modern version of an adorable Tableting Monster which can continue to function at higher speeds and pressures with better cushioning responses and controls. 7. Maxima is also available in full Stainless Steel models with a “Clean – In – Place” facility. Some Automation Features of the Press: 1. Automatic Weight adjustment (weight filling and monitoring) 2. Sensing tight movement of upper and lower punches and indicating the malfunctioning station. 3. Checking for lubrication 4. Automatic rejection of over weight or underweight tablets. 5. Automatic rejection of over pressed or under pressed tablets 6. Recipe Settings available. 7. Monitoring noise generation 8. Based on acceptance of tablets the machine automatically increases or decreases its speed of Tableting. |
